Imperfectly Perfect

Imperfectly Perfect explores identity, self-perception, and the tension between dominant beauty standards and personal authenticity, using color, texture, and form to reflect vulnerability, introspection, and self-acceptance.
About the artist
Marizza Miller

Marizza Miller is a first-year Cinema and Media Arts (Film Production) student from Jamaica, passionate about illustrating her stories and ideas through surrealist painting. Her work often explores emotion, memory, and imagined worlds as a way of visual storytelling. If you can’t find her in the art studio, she’s probably crocheting, experimenting with makeup, or binge-watching an entire movie franchise in one sitting. She is ecstatic to be part of the BIPOC Artist Hub and to continue developing her visual voice within a creative community!
