Remember

Thaila Dixon (They/Them) is a second-year Cinema and Media Arts student of mixed Black Jamaican heritage. They have recently joined VCP in multiple roles, including as a member of the Vanier Improv Club, the BIPOC Artist Hub, and as the stage manager for the Hub’s upcoming five-year anniversary event. A tattoo artist of more than 15 years and a multidisciplinary creative, Thaila’s practice includes storytelling, sculpting, block printing, and visual art. After many years of focusing on client-based art, particularly through tattooing, they are now being intentional about exploring their art practice in a more personal and reflective way.

Thaila is excited to be a part of the BIPOC Artist Hub and looks forward to representing the community with care and gratitude.
